 Our life together:
One of the things that attracted us to each other is the fact that we share many interests. We both love music although not always the same kind. George’s taste in rock tends to be a little harder: Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, while Jan would rather listen to the Beatles, Counting Crows, or Ella Fitzgerald. At least we agree about Bruce Springsteen! We enjoy going to concerts and to jazz or blues festivals. We watch a lot of movies of all kinds. And both of us love to read. We can spend hours browsing around dusty used bookstores. Although we root for different teams (Dodgers vs. Reds) we share a love of baseball and spent our honeymoon watching 10 games at 9 different stadiums in 8 different states! We like to travel and try to take at least one trip a year. We are lucky to live in California where we can take a day trip to the beach or the mountains, depending on our mood. Since we are fairly new to Northern California (we moved up here 2 years ago), we are still exploring this beautiful area every chance we get.
